Rosie and i trade Miracle stories over the table each evening. It builds our faith.
I am sure you guys are better readers than i am but Rosie takes one book and i
take another and we share 1 or 2 each that touched us. It reminds us of how powerful
that God is.

FEAR
Wow!!!! Boy do I have fear. I sat at the meeting tonight and listened. First, I had fear that God would not speak to me or I would not hear (listen to ) Him. Well guess what, He spoke, I heard and then feared more. I feared getting up in front of everyone, feared I would have screwed it up, feared it was to simple, then I thought it was just for me. Well forgive me brothers and sisters, I repent of not acting on God's spoken word. What I heard him say was that there was fear, fear for Ethan, fear for Geoff, fear for Gene, fear for Our Children that they are not choosing the right path but then I heard God say, "Do not worry for I am God." I kept wanting to go up but continued to fear. God, help me (us) not to fear but to trust in you always. I know that I have to work on hearing (listening) to God's word. Forgive me for being cavalier, for just showing up and watching what God is going to do next without allowing him to use me. Forgive me for being that spectator. Brothers and sisters I repent of not heeding God's call tonight and I beg God to continue to pour his gifts out to us and for us to respond with a trusting heart and will.

Last night at the leaders meeting for the Phoenix Branch Brother Tom McQuire asked about who around the table had seen miracles? Peter Waltershide shared the following.
" I was at mass and a fellow came up to me whom i had prayed over at the healing service. At the time he did not notice any thing but when he awoke the next morning he had no more pain. His back had been in terrible pain and it has been gone for 2 weeks. This was mr. Aguilar of OLMC, i guess that was my miracle story to share"

Good news!
Our brother Geoff Shell has an inflamed bowel. It was caused by the chemo. The docs are treating it and he should have a full recovery.
Nick Villalobos has been befriended by Saint Padre Pio. The good saint just helped Nick get additional financial aid that totally covers the expected shortfall. His tuition, room and board for the coming school year will be completely taken care of.

My brothers we are fasting some today for a greater good. We can expect to see more clearly this Miracle thingie....
Not from having "a hat in hand" asking for the next miracle which is the position of us dad's often times praying for our family or friends. But see from a long road of miracles. This am after mass i could begin to count some...

Acts 3
Guys,
A few months ago, I felt very inspired by reading the book of Acts. These are the first accounts of someone other than Jesus healing people. In my prayer time this morning, I felt called and very excited to start reading Acts again. A passage that really stands out and has a lot of meat to it is Acts 3:6, "Peter said, 'I have neither silver nor gold, but what I do have I give you: in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazorean, [rise and] walk."
This one sentence has so much meat to it that I think it's really worth everyone's time to meditate on it. I'll say more about this in another post, but I just wanted to put this out there for now. Before we get into reading all these other books on miracles and healings, I think it's worth it to go to the beginning and study Acts.
